Kicking off with a gig by I Floyd (Pink Floyd tribute band) in the Town Hall, followed by a lively evening in The Crown on Saturday and then the Lyn Valley Classic car show down in Lynmouth on Sunday – a good time was had by all. Lots of money raised for charity too!
Not much to look at now, but planning permission has been granted for Airband to install wireless broadband equipment in our field. All that remains, is to put up a 12m pole where the stake is, dig a 200m trench for the electric cable and tap into our power supply. They can then install their equipment and hopefully we, at Dean Steep, and the few other properties within line-of-sight will be able to enjoy 21st century broadband speeds – rather than the measly 2Mbs we get at the moment.
